What you need to know before you come to Construction vs Cancer
When and where is Construction vs Cancer?
We will see you at the Silverton Casino Hotel on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 10:00 am for the general public. VIP ticket holders can enjoy the park one hour before it opens at 9:00 am. The park closes at 2:00 pm. To find the lot on your GPS or phone, enter 3333 Blue Diamond Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89139.
What do I do after arriving?
We recommend arriving anytime between 10:00 am and 12:30 pm so you have plenty of time to enjoy the park. All guests must check in at the registration tent on the east side of the lot before entering the event. No exceptions. All families must sign a safety waiver and get a participation wristband in order to enjoy the park. The #1 rule in construction is safety first!
Do parents need to purchase a VIP ticket to get into the park with thier kids?
No, parents do not need to purchase a VIP ticket to access the event with their children. VIP tickets are primarily designed for children to enjoy the additional benefits and goodies that come with them. However, if parents would like to receive the special event swag that is included with the VIP package, a payment would be required for that specific item. But rest assured, you can access the event with your kids without the need for a VIP ticket. We look forward to having a fantastic time together with your family in the park!
Will there be food and drinks?
Yes! All food and drink will be for purchase from one of our fabulous food vendors on site. The Silverton Hotel and Casino also has plenty of eateries located inside.
Where can I park?
Give yourself 10 minutes to travel from parking locations to the event. We will have parking available inside the parking garage or in any of the surrounding lots on the Silverton property. There will be a drop off spot near the entrance on the West side of the lot.
Is the event pet-friendly?
As much as we love our furry friends, for their safety, please keep them at home.
How can I donate?
This event benefits the American Cancer Society in its mission to eliminate cancer as a major health issue through research, patient services, and advocacy. We are so grateful to have you at the event. Donations are accepted all throughout the event. We accept checks, cash, and credit cards.
I bought a VIP early access pass. What does that mean?
Yay! You get to enter the park starting at 9:00 am, get to use the expedited VIP line and get a free swag item. Please follow the signs for early access VIP to ensure you end up in the right line.
What if it rains?
Construction vs Cancer is an open-air venue, and the event will go on rain or shine; there are no rain checks. In the event of severe weather, some attractions may be closed for safety reasons.
